After the meeting of anti-BJP parties in Patna on June 23, questions are still bound to arise on the outcome of the meeting in Bangalore on July 17-18. After the first meeting, the opposition parties have got a big blow due to the big break in the Sharad Pawar-led NCP. Under the leadership of Ajit Pawar,   40 MLAs of NCP have changed the picture of Maharashtra politics by befriending Shiv Sena Eknath Shinsade faction and BJP. Even before the elections, BJP has defeated Maharashtra Mahavikas Aghadi. Now there is a triple engine government including BJP.
However, on the initiative of the Congress, 21 parties are being claimed to participate in the meeting to be held in Bangalore. but
In UP, Delhi, Punjab and West Bengal, there is no possibility of ending the conflict with the Congress. Where is the hope of formation of an anti-BJP front in states where regional parties are main contestant with Congress. Telangana CM KCR has recently become a fan of PM Narendra Modi. They have kept distance even before the meeting on June 23. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has also kept away from joining the anti-BJP front.
Arvind Kejriwal also attacked the Congress,
before coming to the meeting in Patna, Arvind Kejriwal was tearing apart the Congress in Rajasthan. Soon after returning, the Congressmen of Delhi-Punjab have also become a staunch opponent of getting closer to Aam Aadami Party. This is the reason why the Delhi government did not get the open support of the Congress regarding the transfer rights of officers. Such reasons would hardly go to the Bangalore meeting.
Mamata Banerjee has said that
CM Mamata Banerjee is responding to the opposition of the BJP and the attack of the Congress regarding the Panchayat elections in West Bengal. Attacking the Congress strongly, Mamta Banerjee has said that the collusion with the Condress and the CPI(M)- By knotting up, Congress should not expect that TMC will support them in the fight against BJP in the country. Mamta can even walk with the Congress to an extent. But his strict attitude towards the Left parties, the campaign of unity against the BJP in West Bengal will hardly be successful.सोनिया गांधी की विशेष पहल पर ममता वनर्जी ने बैठक में शामिल होने पर हामी भरी है।

Jitan Ram Manjhi has increased the enthusiasm of BJP by breaking away from the Grand Alliance before the opposition unity meeting in Bihar. Now barbaric police lathicharge and a worker on BJPs assembly march
The BJP has become more aggressive in Bihar due to the death of a Jahanabad worker Vijay Kumar Singh.
In the second solidarity meeting of the opposition parties, 24 have been claimed to attend. In the first meeting held in Patna on the initiative of Nitish Kumar, 15 parties including CMs of six states participated. Apart from Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and National President Mallikarjun Kharge from the Congress side, SP President Akhilesh Yadav, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP President Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba from Jammu and Kashmir will also be included. The new parties include the MDMK, KDMK, BCK, RSP, Forward Bloc, IUML, Kerala Congress(M) and Kerala Congress (all appearing for the first time,
Even after the meeting, the road is not easy.
For the success of the campaign to unite the anti-BJP parties under Mission 2024, the Congress will have to make sacrifices. In Bihar, RJD and Congress have got participation in power along with JDU as soon as BJP is out of power. Looks easy to put together.
Obstacles stand in the way of uniting the opposition at the national level
Will any face be fixed for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections or will the strategy of giving a candidate be decided on the basis of common program and seat to seat without any face? Will Congress accept the power of regional parties and not contest on 250 seats? The future of opposition unity lies in these questions.
The agenda will be decided regarding the election
Issues like Common Civil Code, population control, inflation, unemployment, non-fulfillment of promises to double farmers income will be discussed. BJP will be on target for the violence in Manipur.
